We recently signed with Puget Sound Energy to deliver two new energy storage projects that will both be designed to the Modular Energy Storage Architecture (MESA) open standards. One is a Zinc Bromide flow battery that will be used to demonstrate use cases such as peak shaving, grid flexibility and backup power. The other will be a Lithium-Ion system focused primarily on peak shaving and outage mitigation.
We’re excited about our work with PSE because these projects will expand the suite of operating modes integrated into our 1Energy Intelligent Controller™ product and will give us experience with some additional battery chemistries.
